Hello, I may do some change with the address book for my own usage. Is it done or should I contact the developer to ask him what's his plans on it. adding php to templates

want to add php code in your templates? here's how open the folder roundcube/skins/default/includes open each html file in your favorite text editor and add <?PHP ?> as the very first line. save them as php files. for example header.html is saved as header.php next open the folder roundcube/skins/default/templates open each html file in your favorite text editor and add <?PHP ?> as the very first line. find all instances of <roundcube:include file= and change html to php for example: <roundcube:include file="/includes/links.html" /> becomes <roundcube:include file="/includes/links.php" /> in the file addressbook.html around line 32 find the line that reads: <roundcube:object name="addressframe" id="contact-frame" width="100%" height="100%" frameborder="0" src="/watermark.html" /> change watermark.html to read watermark.php save them as php files. for example addcontact.html is saved as addcontact.php open the file roundcube/skins/default/watermark.html add <?PHP ?> as the very first line. save watermark.html as watermark.php next open the file roundcube/program/include/main.inc around line 769 find the line that reads: return is_file("$skin_path/templates/$name.html"); change $name.html to $name.php around line 782 find the line that reads: $path = "$skin_path/templates/$name.html"; change $name.html to $name.php save and you're done!! open and run roundcube. everything looks the same and acts the same but now you have the ability to use php in your templates.

Taskbar png

In my testing, someone claimed that there wasn't enough contrast between some of the form elements and the background color. The user complained about "white on white", even though it is white on light gray. Anyway, so I started investigating what it would take to change the background color. Answer: not much, just a simple change of the css. However, with this change the nice taskbar in the upper right doesn't look so nice because it doesn't fade from white to the background color. So I created a png image (attached) that uses transparency instead of the gif that is currently there. Replacing the gif with the png has no downsides that I can see. It does add these benefits: * 25% smaller size * Ability to change the background without bad effects for browsers that support png transparency. To use the png you will need to drop the png in the skins/default/images/ directory and change the #taskbar definition in skins/default/common.css (around line 121) to use taskbar.png instead of the .gif version. RoundCube Themes/Skins

It seemed like the dev list was more appropriate for this then the user list, so here goes. Having done theme work in the past on a verity of applications I decided to give RoundCube a go. I very much enjoy using RoundCube webmail but was looking for a more playful look. I decided to take the popular Thunderbird theme "iCandy Jr." and use it to skin RoundCube. So far I have gotten a good response and wanted to share it with you. <a href="http://tenny.org/blog/installing-the-icandy-jr-theme-to-roundcube">Installing the icandy jr theme to RoundCube</a> With that said, I have looked at the product roadmap and seen that one item listed is "Complete customization with skins". But currently I'm still receiving messages from this mailing list. Perhaps something with your mailinglist-manager does not work properly. Bug Report: Browser Window Title Not Updated Correctly

Hi there, In the latest CVS, the browser title tag is changed to reflect the number of messages in the current window, eg 'INBOX (2)'. This is a great feature, except for one minor issue. If I mark a message as read (by clicking the blue *) then delete it, the folder list new-message count is reduced, but the title bar doesn't change until I click the 'E-Mail' icon in the top toolbar. Feature request: virtual folder

Hi, I think I saw such thing in Zimbra and that Google have something similar; some sort of search-criteria based folders. That is to say, messages that matches a set of criteria are viewable under a special folder. This feature could be very interesting when you're subscribed to mailing lists. Do you think it could be easily done using informations from the cache ? I do not have significant PHP experience so I don't think I'm gonna try to add this feature. Trouble with Inbox

I have evaluated roundCubeMail latest alpha release back in early November and I liked it. I did have some trouble using it on IMAP server from OpenVMS boxes (hangs and timeout during login), but after few cvs updates, it solved the problem. Around in December, maybe before, some of cvs snapshots now have giving me some problems, the Inbox pane is displaying new messages incorrectly. Even with the latest cvs snapshot, the problems still exist. I have attached two jpeg files. The 1st jpeg file shows Inbox pane with new messages but with blank subject, sender, and date. If you double click on it, load snippet appears and will hang if left to long. I can move new messages the different folder and able to read them as if they are old messages. If I move one new message back to Inbox (see 2nd jpeg file) it will appear as two messages, old message with blank header, and new message with correct header. Again, I can read the old message but not the new one. Roundcubemail box: Gentoo with Apache2 server IMAP box: OpenVMS with PDMF IMAP server RoundCubeMail works great on MS Exchange IMAP server with no problems. But we have over 20,000 e-mail users on OpenVMS clusters. We need fast, but simple and ease of use mail web-interface with all the standard features; RoundcubeMail shows promises. Squirrelmail chokes and our current mail web-interface Webmail (commercial) lack features and is too slow. Hordes Impmail does PDMF IMAP very well, but lacks features plus installation and configuration are difficult and pain in the ass.
