password change plugin sql query
by David Mehler 26 Jun '19

Hello, This is probably a simple question, but it's one I can't find the answer to. What is the difference(s) if any between these two sql password change queries? $config['password_query'] = "update accounts set password=CONCAT('{SHA512-CRYPT}', ENCRYPT (%p, CONCAT('$6$', SUBSTRING(SHA(RAND()), -16)))) WHERE username=%l"; $config['password_query'] = "update accounts set password=CONCAT('{SHA512-CRYPT}', ENCRYPT (%p, CONCAT('$6$', SUBSTRING(SHA(RAND()), -16)))) WHERE username=%u"; Thanks. Dave.

Problems with Roundcube/Dovecot when log in with TLS: Empty startup greeting
by zahn 01 Jun '19

01 Jun '19

Hello I try to login from Roundcube to Dovecot IMAP and I get the following error message: Jun 1 14:05:59 chogolisa roundcube: IMAP Error: Login failed for zahn from 84.253.50.193. Empty startup greeting (chogolisa.akadia.com:993) in /usr/local/roundcubemail-1.0.12/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube_imap.php on line 184 (POST /?_task=login?_task=login&_action=login) My configuration in config.inc.php for IMAP is as follows: $config['default_host'] = 'tls://chogolisa.akadia.com'; $config['default_port'] = 993; I can login without any problems with TLS from Thunderbird and any mobilphone! So I think it's a roundcube Problem. I can also send Mails from Roundcube to the Postfix Mailserver, without any Problems. $config['smtp_server'] = 'tls://chogolisa.akadia.com'; $config['smtp_port'] = 587; Can you help me for the "Empty startup greeting" message error. I googeld the whole internet without finding a solution - Thanks! -- Schöne Grüsse aus Oberdiessbach Martin Zahn Akadia AG Martin Zahn Software Ing. Groups Sort Order Contacts Mail Addresses
by Ulli Heist 23 May '19

23 May '19

Hello, is it possible to sort the order of the mail addresses in the contacts? Why do I ask? In the mail groups always the first mail address is used - even if it's the work and a private is available! Or is it possible to mark a preferred recipient address? I'm using Roundcube Webmail 1.3.4 Greetings and thanks Ulli

you have new mail
by mick crane 16 May '19

16 May '19

hello, One of my PCs just made a little chime which seemed to coincide with a new mail. It is very quiet outside which may be why I never noticed it before. Seemed to come from the internal speaker of server. Does roundcube do that or might it be dovecot, getmail, sieve ? If it is dovecot where can I turn it up or off ? mick -- Key ID 4BFEBB31

Re: [RCU] Plugin to reset password
by Andreas Meyer 30 Apr '19

30 Apr '19

I have the password plugin in use for years now with passwords stored in MySQL. I was thinking about something that would send a link to activate a new one. Some days ago a new customer was sitting next to me in front of the screen and he told me he did not write down his password anywhere. Yes, context was clear, I think. -- Von meinem Mobiltelefon gesendet.
