Problems with Installer for ver 1.1.12-2 on CentOS 7
by Robert Moskowitz 05 Feb '19

05 Feb '19

I am on page 3 of the Installer, testing out the STMP config (IMAP config works). I get the error: SMTP send: NOT OK(Connection failed: Failed to connect socket: Unable to find the socket transport "http" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP I am looking in my config.inc.php and I see: $config['smtp_server'] = 'http://klovia.htt-consult.com'; and I did: setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect on I also tried: setsebool -P httpd_can_sendmail on Still no SMTP send. Please point me to where to look for this. ================================== As a side, small issue, the spell checker pull down only offered: pspell, atd, or google. enchant was not in the list, but I see in the config.inc.php: // Set the spell checking engine. Possible values: // - 'googie' - the default (also used for connecting to Nox Spell Server, see 'spellcheck_uri' setting) // - 'pspell' - requires the PHP Pspell module and aspell installed // - 'enchant' - requires the PHP Enchant module // - 'atd' - install your own After the Deadline server or check with the people at http://www.afterthedeadline.com before using their API // Since Google shut down their public spell checking service, the default settings // connect to http://spell.roundcube.net which is a hosted service provided by Roundcube. // You can connect to any other googie-compliant service by setting 'spellcheck_uri' accordingly. $config['spellcheck_engine'] = 'pspell'; Is enchant an option, but just not offered in the installer? I do have it installed on my system thanks

Hi. We periodically have problems with authentication in webmail - login is successful only with the second attempt. The problem occurs only when the login page is open a long time ago; if refresh it before entering, login is successful... Did anyone have the same problem? How can I fix this? Roundcube webmail 1.2.3 -- Best regards, Evgeniy Korneechev.

Hello! Can it be examined, what messagesize the receiving MTA supports? Per plugin maybe? Kind regards Andreas -- PGP-Fingerprint: D392 5D21 0299 63D7 5BAE 4562 1E56 B2EA 81A2 59F1

cannot change settings in webpage

ALERT: dopey home user sorry to be a nuisance Is current Debian buster, dovecot, roundcube with enigma and managesieve plugins. Everything was working nicely 1.3.8 and then something went wrong. Since installed 1.4-beta. I was a bit confused because I read it that the "updateto" would update the downloaded 1.4-beta to the configuration from the previous install but updates instead the previous install. Anyway it is working now and installation page has the green ticks except I just get the unhappy document face in the right hand window in the "settings" tab. In the "settings/folders" tab all the folders are there but I get the unhappy document picture if I try to make a new folder. I can move emails about between folders in "mail". Likewise the "PGP keys"tab shows the keys I copied there by hand but there is no information in the right hand window. There is the text "rapunzel.home refused to connect". ufw is turned off. Is this likely an issue with Dovecot or something daft I haven't done in roundcube configuration ? Can't see anything in any of the logs I've looked at except enigma log says: [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: USING GPG 2.2.12 with PHP 7.3.0-2 [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: OPENING GPG SUBPROCESS WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMAND: [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: /usr/bin/gpg --status-fd '3' --command-fd '4' --no-secmem-warning --no-tty --no-default-keyring --no-options --no-permission-warning --exit-on-status-write-error --trust-model always --pinentry-mode loopback --ignore-time-conflict --ignore-valid-from --with-colons --with-fingerprint --with-fingerprint --fixed-list-mode --homedir '/usr/share/roundcubemail/plugins/enigma/home/mick' --list-secret-keys [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: BEGIN PROCESSING [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: selecting streams [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => got 1 [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: GPG output stream ready for reading [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => about to read 65536 bytes from GPG output [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => read 470 bytes [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: selecting streams [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => got 1 [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: GPG output stream ready for reading [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => about to read 65536 bytes from GPG output [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => read 474 bytes [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: selecting streams [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => got 3 [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: GPG output stream ready for reading [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => about to read 65536 bytes from GPG output [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => read 0 bytes [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: GPG error stream ready for reading [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => about to read 65536 bytes from GPG error [11-Jan-2019 10:34:04 +0000]: <h5bcdh7c> GPG: => read 0 bytes mick -- Key ID 4BFEBB31
