Identities and LDAP

Hello All, Is it possible that the user who logs in for the first time needs not to create an identity and one is created for him automatically when he logs in for the first time? Since, if the user tries to compose a message without creating an identity the Sender field for email is empty. Also, I am not able to access LDAP contacts through the Address Book eventhough I have entered all fields. New mail refreshing

Hello, I love roundcube and am ready to deploy for my customers, but have a problem with mail message list refreshing after my inbox shows new mail. Like inbox(4), etc. If I click a different folder and then go back to inbox, it'll finally show the new messages. I've got the latest stable version running on a Fedora Core 3 server running latest postfix, dovecot, mysql and apache. I'm anxiously awaiting lists and other good features. I couldn't get to the archives. I get a Vi flytter! message. Buckeye Fan.

Setting the cache to false fixed my problem. What an amazing product! Web forum for support?

I last banged on about this last December if memory serves, but why exactly is there no support forums for Roundcube yet? I know the developers wish to keep the mailing list going for development threads, but surely we all agree that mailing lists are not the best vehicle for end user support? I know there was talk of setting up a wiki, but I haven't seen any sight of it yet. I am happy to setup and host a forum, as long as there is a consensus that it is needed. I have no desire to splinter the community though. Anyone else agree? Or is this being worked on separately? Cols in message list

Hi. The default is this: // these cols are shown in the message list // available cols are: subject, from, to, cc, replyto, date, size, encoding $rcmail_config['list_cols'] = array('subject', 'from', 'date', 'size'); I want some more, like this, added 'to'. $rcmail_config['list_cols'] = array('subject', 'from', 'to', 'date', 'size'); Works just fine BUT, when I look into 'Sent'..... subject is subject from is from to is date date is size size is empty Seems that the sent folder is 'hard coded' it does not look at the $rcmail_config['list_cols'] Hope that it will be fixed. Really hope a forum will be up soon. Thanks for a great 'program' //Gunnar

Gmail - Attachments

Hi All! I'm testing RoundCube 0.1 Beta. I applied both patches published in the site. I see two important point: 1- when i send an email to gmail, the sender is (unknown sender), not email and not name. Yahoo and others webmail it's work. 2- when i attached a file, i can't delete it. I think that this function will be see in the stable version. Great Job! Regards! JP

SSL connection problems to imap server

I recently upgraded my imap server (dovecot) to the most recent version. The imap server seems to be running correctly as I can connect to it with regular clients (thunderbird). The server is definately listening on port 993. However roundcube cannot connect for some reason. The error is: 03-Mar-2006 12:13:56 -0800] IMAP Error: Could not connect to ssl://smachimo./myserver/.us at port 993: Operation now in progress in on line 0 I tried switching the settings to connect to localhost as well: [03-Mar-2006 12:18:35 -0800] IMAP Error: Could not connect to ssl://localhost at port 993: Operation now in progress in on line 0 Does anyone know what "Operation now in progress in on line 0" means?

Hi I recently tried to install roundcube, everything went well except that i was greeted by a blank login srceen. I did everything as described at ww.paulstamatiou.com no hicups and rechecked it as well. I turned on the displaying of error messages and all i get is two notices about IMAP_USE_HEADER_DATE and _auth variables. I did some digging and if i comment out session_start() in /program/include/main.inc the page displays asking me for username, password AND server. Why would it ask for a server? What server? With the sessions turned off the url looks like: mail/?_auth=c5f3f852676e59bb920a0069007482ef597ec03f&_task=mail which previously wasnt there. Can anyone tell me whats going on & how i can fix it? Configure Roundcube to read yahoo mail

Hi, could someone please show me how to configure the program so I could use it to receive and send Yahoo emails (kind of like outlook where I can receive and send emails as if I'm logged on to Yahoo).
