Wow this app rocks hard
by Fred Moyer 18 Mar '06

Greetings, I just setup Roundcube in about an hour on Gentoo Linux. I've been using a major open source webmail client which was slow as can be, and using Roundcube is like going through a crazy time warp to a future where there is a webmail client that rocks. Great job, and thank you to the development team from a happy new user. Kind Regards, Fred Moyer,

HTML mail Display problem / moving email problem
by Caleb Harrelson 17 Mar '06

17 Mar '06

Me three. Has anybody figured this problem out? Like Rusty, I'm willing to set somebody up with a test account. I'm using the current stable version (0.1beta?), hMailServer is the mail server, firefox/IE both have the blank display problem. I've examined the page using firefox's dom inspector, the place where the email should be is entirely empty. There are no JavaScript errors. Thunderbird reads the HTML emails just fine. I'm also having issues with dragging and dropping emails into folders. It works half the time, and the other half they're right back where they were when you open the inbox again. Caching is turned off since the server is on localhost, if that matters at all. - Caleb On 2/10/06, Jason <random.numbers(a)gmail.com> wrote: Just to let you know this isn't a fluke, I also appear to be having this problem. Once it is HTML though, or if it is a forwarded copy of an HTML e-mail, I just get a blank page. No e-mail content, no attachment, nothing. I have tried it on the stable version and even on the newest packaged CVS version, but nothing seems to work. > > I can even give someone a dummy login on my server so you can see what I'm talking about if anyone can help me. > > Sincerely, > > -- > Rusty Munson > PJD Hosting & Design --

We need to start a FAQ or Forum or some kind of running archive on these issues. Inbox refresh
by Jason O'Brien 16 Mar '06

16 Mar '06

I'm not sure if this is a bug or something I need to tweak in the config, but here's my problem: When I login, I can't see new e-mail in the inbox unless I click over to another folder (Sent, trash, etc.) and then BACK to inbox. Only then will new e-mail show up. Is there anything I can do to have it refresh and check when it loads up? A lot of my users are complaining, and they're not very savy when it comes to computers. Thanks! -jason alan o'brien -- "I am I am I am." http://www.zenworm.org http://www.2.8productions.com

Buggy display of special characters
by quasi 16 Mar '06

16 Mar '06

I'm from sweden and we have 3 extra letters compared to the english alphabet. Å, Ä, Ö. When you log in to view your email these letters are sometimes replaced with questionmarks, bullets, squares etc. This don't happend everytime, sometimes you just need to refresh the window for them to display properly. And othertimes 1 or 2 of the letters are displayed properly while the 2 and 3:rd get displayed as a questionmark etc. So this is more of a bug report really? Anyone seen this before or got a solution? /quasi

Hi there, I have just installed RoundCube and configured everything. I have set up an IMAP accound and used Outlook to verify everything is working (including username and password). However, RoundCube keeps giving me a "Login failed" error. When I set logging to the trace (8) level, I do see: * CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 UIDPLUS CHILDREN NAMESPACE THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT THREAD=REFERENCES SORT QUOTA IDLE ACL ACL2=UNION cp01 OK CAPABILITY completed Tried PLAIN: Resource id #31 once I hit the LOGIN button. Can anybody help me? Any hints? Where to start? Best regards Ralf
