[RoundCube Users] RoundCube Webmail 0.1 Beta released

After a long period of development, we're proud to announce the first official Beta release of our webmail client. Many bugfixes and some new features have found their way into this version. For a detailed list of improvements, please refer to the Changelog [1]. Please forgive us, if the feature you're requested is not available yet or the bug you're reported has not been fixed in this release. The project is still under heavy development but nobody is working on it full-time. Because of that, things will probably take more time than you expect but until you don't get an answer on your requests, they are bot rejected or ignored. I'd like to thank all the developers, translators and posters who keep this project up and I'm looking forward to announce more good news in the future. Have fun! [RoundCube Users] postfix/smtp and rc

Should be a simple resolution, I have a setup with postfix+dovecot for my SMTP/IMAP server. Trying to set up smtp mailer from RC but getting "failed to add reciepient" initially I was getting auth errors, but added the %u and %p which stopped that problem. I have a working postfix build and can send/recv email no problems from the command line. Any Suggestions? Thanks, Greg

[RoundCube Users] Localization not working?

Hi, Only recently joined the list, so sorry if this has already been discussed. I've set my language to en_GB, and it appears as en_GB in the "language" field in the mysql table. However, roundcube doesn't display messages/labels in en_GB. In rcube_shared.inc, in the routine rcube_label, the line: include_once($INSTALL_PATH.'program/localization/'.$sess_user_lang.'/labelsinc'); is loading en_US labels (i.e. 'program/localization/en_US/labels.inc') In preferences, English (US) is selected. [RoundCube Users] Mail sent from apache

I have the latest cvs of roundcube installed and it seems to be working properly except for the fact that all email that I send from it is sent from apache instead of the user I am logged in as. Anybody know what is causing this? I do not have a setting in the virtuser_file setting. Do I need something in their to translate my user name into an email address? If so what is the format of the virtuser_file? Thanks. -- Brent Brownfield

Some might find this useful, others may not.. but I felt it necessary to post on mailerblog the release of RC 0.1 Beta. I thought the issues I have had with upgrading were unique to my environment, but based on some of the posts from tonight, this is not the case. [RoundCube Users] 0.1 Beta and extra folders list

I have created extra folders but after the 0.1beta the space for them in the Folders list on the left side is only very narrow. I can see that an icon is there but only a sliver of it. Hi, Its quite odd, my session seems to expire whether I am clicking on things or not around the same time. I have this variable set in the config file:- $rcmail_config['session_lifetime'] = 60; My session seems to last around 5 minutes I think. Then I get the red box saying my session is invalid or expired. Has anyone got any ideas... Its not just when I am writing an email. This time I was clicking around the options etc.. [RoundCube Users] Roundcube Seems not to be using any localisation

Hello folks! I've just installed Roundcube on my nice new spangly DH account. After a bit of digging around this very forum I got it working, appart from one problem. Its not using any localisation. (or so it would seem) >From what I can tell, its displaying the tags/placeholders which should be replaced by the phrases in its localisation files (see program/localisation folder).
