[RoundCube Users] unwanted INBOX.Drafts INBOX.Sent INBOX.Trash folders

Hello I'm quite a newbie but I've managed to install Roundcube without any problems, everything worked first time. The only thing is that there are three folders in the folder list that have appeared and I don't know what they are: INBOX.Drafts INBOX.Sent INBOX.Trash These are in addition to the normal Sent and Trash folders. I've noticed that they also exist in Neo, Horde & SquirrelMail that my hosting company (Quality Host Online) provides. What are these folders, and is there any way to get rid of them, as they seem to be unnecessary? Thanks very mush Simon

I can't see an obvious place for a user to be able to change his o her password - am i being blind? or is it that this is a feature that needs adding later? Regards!

Hey everyone, In the main.inc.php file you have this. // Path to a virtuser table file to resolve user names and e-mail addresses $rcmail_config[\'virtuser_file\'] = \'\'; Now my web-host requires that I login with something different then my @domain-name.com address. So i\'m guessing the above config line will handle this. My question is... what does the mysql table have to look like? Such as tables names and the format that data is inserted into them. And I guess i would just put the table name like $rcmail_config[\'virtuser_file\'] = \'vusers\'; Correct? Thanks, ~ROB~

[RoundCube Users] Displaying Current User/email

I'd like to modify the default skin to display the email address currently logged in. I'm new to this but it looks like I use "rcmail_current_username". I want it to appear above the RC logo, so I amended header.html: <div id="header"><roundcube:object name="rcmail_current_username" /> I don't think this is calling the routine though. Do I have the right idea? ~ ~ Dave

[RoundCube Users] Trash folder doesn't work

Hello I'm experiencing a strange situation with my roundcube setup (latest cvs version snapshot from sourceforge). All is working well, except the following. When I delete a message, you see it's added to the trash folder (the number of messages in the folder list on the lefts adds by one). But I can never look in my trash folder! I can click on it, but nothing shows. All other folders are working perfectly (Sent, Inbox, ....). The IMAP-server is a Courier-imap, latest version. Problem occurs also on an older Courier-box, with the same roundcube version. Does anyone have an idea about this? If you need more details, please ask. Regards Peter

According to the changelog for 0.1b (2006/02/04): "Make username available as skin object" But no other details. I figured rcmail_current_username was the routine and guessed that: <roundcube:object name="rcmail_current_username" /> was the call to make it display. Doesn't seem to get to the routine though. So I guess I'm stuck with not understanding how to call routines from the UI components, and secondarily with which UI routine I call for the username. >> Have you tried the %u element I see in the main config? Not sure, but it looks like "%u" is intended specifically for use in the config file. If not, any ideas on how it's used from the UI components? ~ ~ Dave Brady J. [RoundCube Users] Problems with file attachments

Hi All, Hoping someone else has run into this. After selecting a file to attach to a mail message and selecting upload, the dialog closes but does not show a record of the file you just uploaded. Is this normal? Secondly, when sending the message (with logging enabled), I get the following error: Warning: rmdir(temp/39664438943f0eafe75809): Directory not empty in /home/e-smith/files/ibays/cube/html/program/steps/mail/func.inc on line 1219 Now, in my OS, simply selecting rmdir and the directory name will not remove a directory if that directory has anything in it (which in my case, there is). Is there a cleanup routine that would remove the contents of the directory before the rmdir code is executed? Any ideas? Thanks! Geoffrey

Hi, I have found out that deleting email from the trash does not delete from the server itself. The message ID is still in the server itself but unviewable from RoundCube. Regards, Tan Fang Wai

Hey everyone.. longtime lurker has a couple questions! 1) I'm using a vanilla install of the v0.1-20051021 release. After modifying the English localization and uploading, my changes aren't apparent. Did I miss something? 2) Is it possible to enable Read Receipts? Thanks! Tom

[RoundCube Users] Outbound email fails via smtp

I've attempted to program all settings into our server for outbound email usage, but to no avail. Currently we're a Cyrus OS X server, with smtp, password authorization required for outbound sending of messages. Now, I get the %u/p parts, and I have it set to the proper smtp address... should I not just be using 'LOGIN' as the password protocal? I've essentially tried all, and none seem to work, I'm wondering if there's a different outbound preference I should put in there that I'm not seeing?
