I think that the js http_request call that doesn't get the proper encoding in it's response. I found a way to get it working doing: 1. Replace line 672 of program/include/main.inc with header("Content-Type: application/x-javascript; charset=$CHARSET"); 2. Replace line 2853 of program/js/app.js with ctype = (String(ctype).toLowerCase()).split(';')[0]; Once again, it worked for me, but it could need some further investigation. I'm not sure if someone is already working on a patch for these issues. I would be glad to do it if it's not the case (and if I'm working in the right direction). Regards, -l

CVS not refreshing inbox

I updated to the latest CVS this morning and it seems that the INBOX is no longer getting refreshed on login. I have to click on another folder then click back on the inbox to get new messages. Spanish charset problem

When i write this text in spanish in round cube webmail composer: "Esta es una prueba en espa�ol y con m�s y m�s acentos" The text that de program sent is this: "Esta es una prueba en espa ol y con m s y m s acentos" This is a problem with de charset and fail with every charsets. [RoundCube Users] Feature Requests

Hello, first I want to say that RoundCube is (or will be) what I was looking for a long time...I tried different products like open-xchange, egroupware, horde and squirrelmail. Sure, all these products offer a lot more features, but configuration is often a pain (e.g. OX requires LDAP). No interface is as nice and clean as the one of roundcube. I currently running a gentoo based vmail server with a postfix, courier-imap, cyrus-sasl, postgresql setup with an amavisd with dcc, razor, spamassassin, f-prot and clamav. Therefore anything in the "backoffice" is running nice and fast...but I have to improve the "frontoffice". Currently I'm using Mailzu for accessing the spam queue, RoundCube for webmail, horde for calendar...I wish I could integrate them all... I'm missing a few things in RoundCube (I know that some of them are already mentioned as feature request, but anyway I want to compile the whole list), ranked by how desperate I want the feature :) : - Threaded View for the email listing (e.g. sort Emails by thread) - A preview window below the email listing - FCKedit Support in the Compose Email Textarea (shouldn't be to difficult according to the fckedit homepage: http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Developer's_Guide/Integration/PHP) - Some more fields at the address book (e.g. Street, City, Phone, Mobile...) - A calendar - Mouse-Resizable column widths for the email listing - A file storage for quickly up- and downloading files - Accessing postgresql stored emails (Amavis Spam Queue) Just to add, there are two annoying bugs, the first is the support for german umlauts, which wont be shown at common mail clients. The second is that roundcube wont work nice on konqueror, which is kde's default webbrowser, somethings wrong with the column order... I really love this project and I hope that it will improve fast, if I can be of any use plz let me know. Btw. Is RoundCube currently an "one-man-show"? What are the features u all want? Maybe we could make a small list with the most wanted features, so the developer could concentrate on them first? Greetz Alex

Hi, I could not find a mailing list archive so I'm posting a message i believe has been posted several times already.... The letters öäåÖÄÅ don't show up correctly, see the following text: * Veckans bÃ¤sta erbjudanden frÃ¥n Misco.se!* If I choose to display the page as UTF-8 in the browser it's OK. I tried to change the file: /program/include/rcube_shared.inc and set charset=UTF-8 but the browsers (firefox, IE) still don't get it. What do I need to do to make sure the browser always use UTF-8 for the roundcube pages? Thanks a million, roundcube rocks! /Alexander

When I try and run Roundcube I get the following in my Apache error log: [Thu Feb 23 20:47:39 2006] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Notice: DB Error: not found in /var/www/secure/roundcubemail/program/include/bugs.inc on line 80 [Thu Feb 23 20:47:39 2006] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method DB_Error::query() in /var/www/secure/roundcubemail/program/include/rcube_db.inc on line 213 I used to have Roundcube working but I decided to delete it all and reinstall the latest version. I get this problem with both the latest CVS and the 0.1 beta. Could it be something to do with upgrades to php (5.1.2-1) and mysql (5.0.18-8)? [RoundCube Users] Problem uploading attachments

Hi, I use RoundCube Webmail 0.1 Beta and have a problem uploading attachments: after choosing the file ("Browse...") and pressing on "Upload" the browser seems to load something but after that the attachment doesn't appear in the attachment column (the same thing happens also with small *.txt files). I know that "file_uploads" has to be enabled like it says in the INSTALL document. phpinfo() says: file_uploads: On (Local Value) - On (Master Value). I also tested a PHP upload script on the server which worked without problems (the script uses $_FILES[] and the function move_uploaded_file()). Thanks in advance and regards, Mark
