Change label for login input field "username"
by forum.news＠gmx.de 21 Jul '18

21 Jul '18

Hi, At the moment, my RC installation ask the user to provide "Username" and "Password" during the login. Can this be changed to "eMail-Address" and "Password"? The login already works with provided either one of these two, so I would just like to change the label itself, nothing else. Thanks Konrad

bulk import csv (multi contacts)
by Webert de Souza Lima 17 Jul '18

Hi, I have to import multiple csv files for multiple contacts (basically 1 csv with thousands contacts per user). I wonder if there's a way to use roundcube internal code to do this for me with the help of bach script to loop through the CSVs and parse what user it belongs to, and use such tool to automate the importing of CSV. I first tried to script to to mysql db directly, but I would have to convert everything to a vCard first, and I would have to figure out the user/group/contact relations, so no. The CSV file I have is in the expected MS Outlook 2010 format (headers). Thanks. Regards, Webert Lima DevOps Engineer at MAV Tecnologia *Belo Horizonte - Brasil* *IRC NICK - WebertRLZ*

enabling internal service tls authentication
by David Mehler 16 Jul '18

Hello, I've got a vps that I'm wanting to tighten down its webmail setup. Currently it's running php 5.6 and it does have the openssl extension loaded. It's got apache 2.4 and that hooks in to php via php-fpm. I'm running Postfix and Dovecot and Roundcube 1.3.6. What I'm wanting to do is tls-encrypt all server communications from roundcube to the various imap/smtp servers. I've got letsencrypt providing my server certificates. In my roundcube configuration I've got a map pointing: #cat host1_config.inc.php <?php $config['username_domain'] = 'example.com'; $config['default_host'] = 'tls://mail.example.com'; // For STARTTLS IMAP $config['imap_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => true, // certificate is not self-signed if cafile provided 'allow_self_signed' => false, // Letsencrypt 'ssl_cert' => '/usr/local/etc/ssl/acme/example.com/fullchain.pem', 'ssl_key' => '/usr/local/etc/ssl/acme/private/example.com/privkey.pem', // probably optional parameters 'ciphers' => 'TLSv1.2:@STRENGTH', 'peer_name' => 'mail.example.com', ) ); // For STARTTLS SMTP $config['smtp_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => true, // certificate is not self-signed if cafile provided 'allow_self_signed' => false, // Letsencrypt 'ssl_cert' => '/usr/local/etc/ssl/acme/example.com/fullchain.pem', 'ssl_key' => '/usr/local/etc/ssl/acme/private/example.com/privkey.pem', // probably optional parameters 'ciphers' => 'TLSv1.2:@STRENGTH', 'peer_name' => 'mail.example.com', ), ); When I atempt to connect via roundcube I get a gateway timeout message and this in my imap server log: 2018-07-16 14:01:31 imap-login: Info: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 0 secs): user=<>, rip=127.0.0.1, lip=127.0.0.1, TLS handshaking: SSL_accept() failed: error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol, session=<AsiSniFxS91/AAAB> Any ideas? Thanks. Dave.

Dear list, in a OpenBSD 6.3 machine I run httpd and opensmptd and try to intall roundcubemail 1.3.5 from the OpenBSD packages repository. When running the installer, in the first page, I get following warnings: FileInfo: OK Libiconv: OK Intl: NOT AVAILABLE(See http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.intl.php) Exif: OK LDAP: NOT AVAILABLE(See http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.ldap.php) GD: NOT AVAILABLE(See http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.image.php) Imagick: NOT AVAILABLE(See http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.imagick.php) but pkg_info shows: php-gd-5.6.34 image manipulation extensions for php php-intl-5.6.34 intl library support for php and I think php-imagick is already part of the php OpenBSD package. Why do I get the above warnings? also, in the second installation page I get the following: Mimetype to file extension mapping: NOT OK but in httpd.conf, on the top of the file, I have the following entry: types { include "/usr/share/misc/mime.types" } Thank you

I turned on CGI just for grins, but that didn't help. Nothing is logged in the http-error log, and the roundcube log only shows the above error.
