After making new directories I run again installto.sh script. Few las line from output: CHANGELOG README.md UPGRADING LICENSE INSTALL done. !! Old .htaccess file saved as .htaccess.orig !! JavaScript dependencies installation skipped... Running update script at target... This instance of Roundcube is not yet configured! Open http://url-to-roundcube/installer/ in your browser and follow the instuctions. All done. there is information "done." and "All done" and when I log into some account I see I have 1.3.6 version but I see that database is not upgraded. Roundcube 1.3.6 and carddav plugin
by David Mehler 14 Apr '18

Hello, I'm trying to run carddav on my roundcube 1.3.6, recently updated. Whenever I enable the carddav plugin I see two separate errors in my errors log file, the first 5 lines refer to carddav, the sixth line refers to an issue maybe related maybe not about a Php security check failed. Any insights on either of these issues appreciated. Abnormal termination when downloading attached file (after 60 seconds)
by Seiichirou Hiraoka 13 Apr '18

13 Apr '18

Hello, I use Roundcube 1.0.2 in the following environment. OS: CentOS 7.2.1511 Kernel: 3.10.0-327.el7.x86_64 Apache: httpd-2.4.6-40.El7.Centos.4 IMAP Server: dovecot-2.2.10-5.el7.x86_64 - Configuration In order to handle 50 MB attached file on Roundcube, We made the following settings in Apache and PHP. . Apache httpd.conf Timeout 300 . PHP php.ini max_execution_time = 300 max_input_time = 600 error_reporting = E_ALL default_socket_timeout = 600 mysql.connect_timeout = 600 . Roundcube defaults.inc.php $config['imap_timeout'] = 300; - Situation In this situation, e-mail with attached file of about 30 MB will be sent from Roundcube When downloading, processing stops when 1 minute passes. The whole file can not be downloaded, and only a part has been downloaded. I think that the following log (/var/log/maillog) is output to Dovecot, indicating that it ended abnormally. Apr 11 14:47:43 server dovecot: imap-login: Login: user = <user>, method = PLAIN, rip = X.X.X.X, lip = X.X.X.X, mpid = 17992, TLS, session = <Ln + HLYxpAKyALY> Apr 11 14:47:44 server dovecot: imap (user): Disconnected: Logged out in in = 196 out = 16844 Apr 11 14:48:00 server dovecot: imap (user): Error: read (<binary stream of mailbox INBOX UID 433>) failed: Broken pipe (FETCH BINARY [2] for mailbox INBOX UID 433) Apr 11 14:48:00 server dovecot: imap (user): Disconnected: FETCH failed in = 420 out = 12552347 - Question As a result of investigation, it seems that some timeout value is set on Roundcube side, Can you advise me? Please tell me if there is information necessary for carving. Regards,

End of Life for 1.2?
by Peter Thomassen 12 Apr '18

12 Apr '18

Hi, Today, security update 1.3.6 was released, but there was no update for the 1.2 line. In November, there was an update for 1.2 (and even 1.1). Now, I am wondering whether 1.2 has reached its end of life, or whether the security issue only affected 1.3. How can I find out the support cycles for the various lines? I couldn't manage to figure it out on the web site. Thanks! Security Update 1.3.6 released
by Thomas Bruederli 11 Apr '18

11 Apr '18

Dear subscribers We just published a security update to the stable version 1.3. It primarily fixes a recently reported IMAP command injection vulnerability caused by insufficient input validation within the archive plugin. Details about the vulnerability are published under CVE-2018-9846. Additionally, we back-ported some minor fixes from the master branch which improve PHP 7.2 compatibility as well as PGP signing and key handling for those who use the Enigma plugin. See the full changelog in the release notes on the Github download page: https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.3.6 We strongly recommend to update all productive installations of Roundcube with this new version. Updates for older LTS versions will follow soon. And as usual: please do backup your data before updating! Best, Alec & Thomas

roundcube custom tls verification options
by David Mehler 09 Apr '18

09 Apr '18

Hello, Is it possible to do custom connection information? This is how my config.inc.php file looks: $config['default_host'] = 'tls://localhost'; $config['imap_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => false, 'verify_peer_name' => false, ), ); $config['smtp_server'] = 'tls://localhost'; $config['smtp_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => false, 'verify_peer_name' => false, ), ); $config['include_host_config'] = array( 'webmail.domain1.com' => 'domain1_config.inc.php', 'webmail.domain2.com' => 'domain2_config.inc.php', ); what I'm wanting to do is tighten my tls verification options. My domains each use a different letsencrypt certificate. What I'm wanting to add is something like: // For STARTTLS IMAP $config['imap_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => true, // certificate is not self-signed if cafile provided 'allow_self_signed' => false, // 'cafile' => '/etc/ssl/certs/Your_CA_certificate.pem', // For Letsencrypt use the following two lines and remove the 'cafile' option above. 'ssl_cert => '/etc/letsencrypt/live/mail.my_domain.org/fullchain.pem' 'ssl_key' => '/etc/letsencrypt/live/mail.my_domain.org/privkey.pem' // probably optional parameters 'ciphers' => 'TLSv1+HIGH:!aNull:@STRENGTH', 'peer_name' => 'mail.my_domain.org', ), ); // For STARTTLS SMTP $config['smtp_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => true, // certificate is not self-signed if cafile provided 'allow_self_signed' => false, // 'cafile' => '/etc/ssl/certs/Your_CA_certificate.pem', // For Letsencrypt use the following two lines and remove the 'cafile' option above. 'ssl_cert => '/etc/letsencrypt/live/mail.my_domain.org/fullchain.pem' 'ssl_key' => '/etc/letsencrypt/live/mail.my_domain.org/privkey.pem' // probably optional parameters 'ciphers' => 'TLSv1+HIGH:!aNull:@STRENGTH', 'peer_name' => 'mail.my_domain.org', ), ); Can I put a config in each of the domain specific files? Thanks. Dave.

Print ALL mails in a folder to PDF files
by Philip Rhoades 08 Apr '18

08 Apr '18

People, Is there some way of CLI scripting RCM to print all the mails in a particular Maildir to separate PDF files? - it would be far to slow to do one at a time from the GUI . . Thanks, Phil. -- Philip Rhoades PO Box 896 Cowra NSW 2794 Australia E-mail: phil(a)pricom.com.au
